Barnard 343 area
You are viewing a part of the Gamma Cygni Nebula Complex. Much of the nebulosity in this area is quite faint and is composed mainly of hydrogen although other elements are present including oxygen and sulfur. The area of dark nebulosity just above center near the left side of this image is Barnard 343.
