The Veil Nebula is comprised of three main elements - the Eastern Veil (shown above), the Western Veil and Pickering's Triangle. It is the remnant of a supernova explosion and is one of the most
beautiful objects in the night sky. Visual observers may have difficulty seeing the detail unless they use an oxygen III filter.
