LDN 1082 / Barnard 150 is commonly called the Seahorse Nebula. It is a dark nebula, specifically a type of molecular cloud. It is so dense that it obscures the visible wavelengths of
light from objects behind it. These molecular clouds are the spawning grounds of stars and planets. This particular cloud is located in the constellation Cepheus.
